About the Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging
About Us
The non-profit Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging was founded in 2020 with the aim of supporting innovative projects and research initiatives in geriatric care and healthcare. In addition to promoting research in the fields of nursing, geriatrics and medicine, this also includes the training and further education of nursing professionals.
Our Mission
With the “Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging” we want to strengthen social commitment and work for high-quality care and dignified aging.
Focus on care
The focus of the foundation's work is primarily on nursing staff. For us, healthy and motivated nursing staff are the key to secure, high-quality nursing care. Promoting and supporting their health is the focus of the foundation's work.
Counteracting sick leave and early occupational disability

Our team
The foundation is managed by a board of directors whose work is monitored by a foundation council. The foundation is also supported by an academic advisory board, whose members make a significant contribution to the foundation's work due to their professional qualifications and position in social and political life.
Members of the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees of the Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging is made up of managers from within and outside the Korian Group. It ensures that the Foundation's tasks are fulfilled. To this end, it defines strategic guidelines, decides on the budget and oversees the activities and projects of the Foundation and the Foundation's management.
Members of the Advisory Board
The Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging is supported by an academic advisory board, whose six members make a significant contribution to the work of the foundation due to their professional qualifications and their position in social or political life. They bring very different perspectives and skills from different areas of care.
