Viola Baumgärtner

After studying at the University of Passau and at the Institut Catholique de Paris, Ms Baumgärtner graduated in International Culture and Business Management with a specialisation in the French-speaking cultural area. She began her professional career in 1999 as a marketing communications and PR manager in the telecommunications industry.

After this, Ms Baumgärtner worked for 18 years as a project manager in the field of international trade fair and event management. In addition to the organisation of technical trade fairs, Ms Baumgärtner was responsible for the organisation of official joint company exhibitions on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
