Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging

With the Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging, Korian Germany aims to further strengthen its social commitment and advocate for high-quality care and dignified aging.

We are doing good for nursing!

Founded in 2020, the non-profit Korian Foundation for Care and Dignified Aging aims to support innovative projects and initiatives in elderly care and healthcare. This includes promoting research in nursing, geriatrics, and medicine, as well as the training and professional development of nursing staff.

The foundation's work focuses primarily on nursing staff. Improving their working conditions and the overall reputation of the nursing sector are central concerns. In this way, those in need of care are also taken into consideration. Dignity, recognition, and respect for all parties – that is the foundation's holistic motto.

In addition to nursing staff, the Korian Foundation also reaches out to family members of those requiring care. They advocate for the interests of their relatives on residents' councils and are therefore an important element in ensuring their well-being and high-quality care. Furthermore, the foundation aims to reach families who provide care at home or use outpatient care services.
