Dr. Stefan Grund is a specialist physician in internal medicine and geriatrics, with many years of experience in clinical practice (acute & rehabilitation) and research. Before joining Korian, he worked as a senior consultant at the Geriatric Center at Heidelberg University Hospital. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and an active member of the German Society of Geriatrics (DGG), the German Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics (DGGG), and the European Geriatric Medicine Society (EuGMS). At Korian, he will contribute his medical expertise and the latest scientific findings, introduce innovative procedures, and further develop geriatric research to continue improving the quality of geriatric care. In doing so, he maintains close communication with the Clariane Group’s European partner companies to benefit from international experience and best practices.
