Jürgen Graalmann

Since 2016, Jürgen Graalmann, former chairman of the board of directors of the AOK federal association, has dedicated himself to his concept and investment agency "Die BrückenKöpfe". He is particularly interested in strengthening the care sector, which led to the founding of the German Care Day in 2014, for which he is also responsible as Managing Director.


Jürgen Graalmann was born in 1968 and studied in Cologne. He established the basic health policy department at BARMER from 1996 onwards and headed the business development department.


In 2006, he became head of the policy department of the AOK Federal Association and in this position, he accompanied the project named Future of AOK. In 2009 he became part of the board of directors and in 2011 chairman of the board. For almost seven years he represented the AOK as its spokesperson.
